The Animal Husbandry Society of our University organized a meeting for the students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Animal Production and Technologies on April 17, 2024.
Agricultural Engineer Abdullah Berk AKKAŞ, Member of the Board of Directors of the Zootechnical Federation, attended the meeting as a guest speaker. AKKAŞ met with the students of our department, explained the work of the Animal Husbandry Federation and provided information about the 17th National Animal Husbandry Student Congress, which will be hosted by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University on May 17-19, 2024. Akkaş emphasized the success of our University, which won the second prize for the best oral presentation at the 16th National Animal Science Congress held in Ankara last year, and encouraged the students to be more active in scientific congresses. The students expressed their positive opinions about the efficiency of the meeting and expressed their desire to participate in the 17th National Animal Science Student Congress.
After the meeting, Akkaş visited Prof. Dr. Yaşar KARADAĞ, Vice Rector of Muş Alparslan University and Dean of Faculty of Applied Sciences, in his office and gave information about the activities of the Federation of Animal Husbandry.
