Muş Alparslan University was selected as a Pilot State University in the field of “Animal Husbandry” within the scope of “Regional Development Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialization Project” on December 12, 2018. Studies have started in this field within the Faculty of Applied Sciences of our university.
In line with the Development Plan targets put into effect by our Presidency, “Agriculture and Livestock Studies Laboratory” will be opened in the field of Animal Husbandry in our university. In our laboratory, in the field of “Animal Husbandry”, scientific studies will be carried out in the fields of determination of feed quality characteristics, milk and dairy products and soil analysis (physical and chemical) and erosion assessment studies, studies on breeding and variety registration of medicinal aromatic plants, especially Mus Tulip, invitro bee breeding, bee diseases studies, bee and bee products, propolis, bee bread and pollen extraction studies, queen bee and honey production studies and biotechnology.At the opening ceremony, after the speeches of our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican and Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, the ribbon was cut and the laboratory ended after receiving information about the machinery and equipment in the laboratory.
