Esra SÜNE, our 4th year student from the Department of Animal Production and Technologies, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Applied Sciences, won the second prize for 'The Most Successful Oral Presentation' at the “Simultaneous 13th National Zootechnics Science Congress and 16th National Zootechnics Student Congress” organized by the Zootechnics Federation on October 26-28, 2023 in Ankara on the 100th anniversary of our Republic.
The congress started with a visit to Anıtkabir in gratitude to the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and all his comrades-in-arms on the 100th anniversary of our Republic, followed by the opening sessions held at the Atatürk Conference Hall of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
On the second day of the Congress, which continued at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry International Agricultural Training Center, our student Esra SÜNE presented a paper titled “Determination of Knowledge and Preferences of University Students towards Organic Agriculture and Organic Food”.Esra Süne, 4th year student of the Department of Animal Production and Technologies, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Applied Sciences of our University and also the President of the Animal Husbandry Society, Esra Süne expressed her gratitude to our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican and Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Yaşar Karadağ, who supported their participation in the congress, on behalf of herself and her fellow students Özlem Çelen, Helin Akdemir and their advisor Dr. Lecturer Hülya Hanoğlu Oral.
